We are excited to let you know that the City of Guelph, Guelph Hydro and Guelph Environmental Leadership (GEL) are hosting a second annual Guelph Lights Out Relay on March 31st 2012!

Participation in the event last year made a difference. Guelph residents almost doubled their commitment to cutting electricity. This involvement was equivalent to taking 1,300 homes off the power grid during the hour. Let’s keep the momentum building!

We would like to invite you to take part in this year’s Earth Hour and Guelph Lights Out Relay:

Join us on Sunday March 11 for our non-partisan event focusing on election fraud and the need for a public inquiry.
Meet in St George’s Square at 1pm with signs and banners and walk to City Hall for an outside gathering at 2pm
Local speakers will focus on the situation and the need to support our democratic traditions and call for a public inquiry.
We welcome the public to join us in protesting this robo-call theft of our democratic rights in Canada and to show strong support for parliamentary democracy and an end to the pilfering of our rights as Canadians.
